Hi Reader,
In my last email, I shared how and why I am transforming the way I teach herbal medicine online. Instead of lecturing at you over Zoom, or sending you hours of passive video lectures to memorize alone, the Aralia Student Membership combines on-demand lessons with dynamic, live discussion sessions.
So what does that actually look like in practice?
When you join this new cohort by May 25, you will dive right into our first session: Digestive Lab: Fueling the Body (Live May 31).
We don't do boring lectures. Instead, we've created a format where you can actually integrate what you've learned and develop clinical thinking skills in a fun, collaborative way.
- The Flexible Lessons: You will learn core concepts at your own pace with the Digestive modules and select 1-3 herbs to study in more depth from the Materia Medica class library and database.
- The Live Challenge: We gather online to collectively troubleshoot real-world digestive imbalances. You will practice analyzing the "what" and "why" of numerous GI conditions, learning to think physiologically and determine root causes.
- The Formulation Thinking: We will develop formula ideas together, learning how to choose the best options for specific scenarios.
This lab is just the beginning. Throughout your membership, we will use this model to help you deepen your practical skills and truly embody your herbal learning. Your first quarter inside this cohort will also include:
- Respiratory Workshop: Supporting the Breath - Mapping acute vs. chronic lung stages in specific conditions, collaboratively building targeted herbal strategies for each phase.
- Nervous System Session: Rewiring the Stress Response Prepare a "nervine+adaptogen profile" for a specific stress scenario
If you are a dedicated beginner to advanced herbal student ready to take the next step and start creating clear, effective herbal strategies, this cohort is built for you.
Our first pre-work goal is May 28. Join today to get your prep sheets, access the database, and start studying with our great crew of students.
Warmly,
Caty
